Isabel painted a very fine birdhouse today and we hung it in the backyard. So if you are a bird in the area or know any, come on down, we have a vacancy. Later that day we flew a kite off the deck and then went out for dinner and ice cream. As always there are more photos, HERE.

I have spent about every waking moment of this weekend at the True False Film Festival. It was a lot of fun and I got to see a lot of movies. My two favorites so far have been "Blood Trail" and "Loot". All the movies I saw were good but these two I liked a lot.

I also entered the "Gimme Truth" contest they hold. The rules are as follows: you submit a film that is 2 minutes or less and the entry has to be entirely true or false. Then they show 10 selected films at The Blue Note in front of the audience and judges. After each film the judges get to ask you one question each, in order to figure out if your film was true or false. The idea is to stump or fool them. I did stump two of them but one figured me out. I did not place but it was a great time and an honor to be selected. I will definitely be entering next year. Danielle, Rev, Andrea and Matt came out to watch the show and we all had a good time.
